This evening I joined the March for Victims of GLBT Violence in Washington DC.
Some pretty horrific hate attacks motivated by anti-gay violence have occurred this week in my neighborhood of Columbia Heights.
The March itself was well attended, but truthfully I'm fairly certain I was perhaps the only straight guy in the crowd.
The turnout was clearly the core of the gay activist community.
What does this say about homophobia and concern for anti-gay violence?
I don't know, but I'm glad I showed my support.
